Campden Sulphite Powder – Prevent Oxidation in Wine, Beer & Juice

Effective protection for wine, beer, and juice

Campden Sulphite Powder contains potassium metabisulphite and is an essential product for anyone working with fermentation. It helps prevent oxidation, protect against wild yeasts on fruit, and can be used to stop an ongoing fermentation process when required.

By stabilizing must, wine, or beer, this sulphite powder ensures better flavor preservation, longer shelf life, and improved control over your fermentation results.

Sulfur powder – Dosage instructions

For sulfiting unfermented must and juice before fermentation:
1 g sulfur per 10 liters
Add 1 g sulfur at the same time as the yeast and yeast nutrient

To stop an active fermentation:
4 g per 25 liters of wine

For disinfecting equipment, use sulfur powder together with citric acid:
Ratio of 1–2 g sulfur and 0.5 g citric acid per 1 liter of water
